Business Fest Southwest 2026: A Brilliant Day for Events, Venues and Connections

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending Business Fest Southwest 2026, representing The Entertainment Fixers under the Inspired HQ umbrella. And what a day it was.

Bringing together businesses from across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, the event was a fantastic showcase of what the Southwest has to offer. From venues and suppliers to service providers and creatives, it was a brilliant reminder of just how strong and collaborative the regional business community is.

A Strong Spotlight on Southwest Event Venues

One of the highlights of the day was seeing such a great range of venues promoting their spaces for corporate events, conferences and weddings.

Standout names included Bovey Castle, The Mole Resort and St Michael’s Resort, all showcasing the facilities and flexibility they offer for events of all sizes.

From luxury countryside settings to coastal venues with incredible views, it was clear that the Southwest continues to be a top destination for corporate events and celebrations alike. For anyone planning an event in this region, there are some truly standout options available.

Representing The Entertainment Fixers

As part of Inspired HQ, we were there representing The Entertainment Fixers and connecting with businesses looking to elevate their events through entertainment.

Our focus for the day was very much on the corporate market. We spoke to event organisers, marketing teams and venue partners about how entertainment can be used not just to fill time, but to enhance the overall experience of an event.

Whether it is:

  • Interactive entertainment that encourages networking
  • Live music that creates atmosphere
  • Experiential elements that keep guests engaged

Entertainment plays a key role in how people experience and remember an event.

The Notworking Networking Lounge

A big talking point of the day was the Notworking Networking lounge, where visitors could experience something a little different.

If you stopped by, you may have seen or even interacted with the interactive wall, which proved to be a real crowd-puller throughout the event. It was a great example of how entertainment can be used to attract attention, encourage engagement and create memorable moments in a corporate setting.

We also handed out a few fun freebies, so if you picked one up, we hope it brought a smile to your day.

Why Events Like This Matter

Business Fest Southwest is more than just an exhibition. It is about connection, collaboration and discovering new opportunities.

For us, it was a chance to:

  • Meet fantastic venues and suppliers across the Southwest
  • Talk to businesses about their upcoming events
  • Share ideas on how entertainment can add real value

Events like this remind us that great events are built through strong partnerships.

We can’t thank The Entertainment Fixers enough for making our day even more special. The band were amazing! The process of booking a band for our wedding was just so simple. We gave them the date, times and budget and they provided us with a selection to choose from. We then chose one and before we knew it all the contracts were in place and the band was booked. We couldn’t have asked for anymore from them.
